World Hunger Day - World Hunger Day Unplugged - 26, 27 , 28 May 2013
Six intimate live music events in central London on May 26, 27, 28 at the Pizza Express Jazz Club. With an All-Star line-up in aid of The Hunger Project, which includes Jumoké Fashola, Joe McElderry, Barb Jungr, Randolph Matthews and Mari Wilson. Tickets £25.
Kampala Music School - Orchestra Pro-Music Uganda - 31 May 2013
Concert at Cadogan Hall in aid of the Kampala Music School’s 10th Anniversary Appeal, the aim of which is to fund the expansion of the school and the purchase of a new building, including a new performance hall. Enjoy a delightful evening of classical masterworks, while also helping KMS to bring the gift of music to many more students in Uganda. Tickets from £15.
Eaves - Stand Up for Women - 4 June 2013
Following two sold-out evenings of world class stand-up, comedian and feminist James Mullinger once again presents Stand Up for Women. The evening promises to showcase some of the best talent in stand up from both well-known and up-and-coming comedians. There is something for all tastes at this increasingly popular gig in support of Eaves, the charity supporting vulnerable women. Tickets £15.
Big Issue Foundation - Big Noise Festival - 8 June 2013
Taking place at the Bussey Building/CLF Arts Cafe in Peckham, The Big Noise Festival will include diverse and exciting musicians; DJs; theatre groups; spoken word artists; visual, live and digital media artists; short-films; festival acts and circus performers. All money raised goes directly to the Big Issue Foundation. Tickets £8.
