Sandblast - Charity Cabaret Extravaganza - 4 August 2010
Olive Branch Theatre and arts and human rights charity Sandblast present Charity Cabaret Extravaganza at the Battersea Barge. The evening is a special fundraiser for a youth theatre project in the Saharawi refugee camps in South West Algeria. The evening will showcase London's finest performers in music, theatre, comedy and the spoken word to raise funds for a youth theatre project in the refugee . Entry by donation £20. Lake of Stars - The Noisettes - 12 August 2010
The vinspired Lake of Stars Festival, an international music festival set on the shores of Lake Malawi in Africa, brings its unique flavour to the Union Chapel in Islington. Headlining the evening will be the Noisettes, a band who’ve overtaken the British music scene with a dizzying speed of ascent, recently described by The Guardian as ‘the best live band in Britain’. UCLH Cancer Centre - Comedy Festival - 22 - 23 September 2010
Comedy Festival at the Bloomsbury Theatre raising money for the new UCLH Cancer Centre. Line up for 22nd includes Andi Ohso, Tom Allen, Ninia Benjamin, Stewart Francis, Tony Law, Andrew Lawrence, Pete Johansson with special guest Russell Howard. Line up for 23rd includes Alex Zane, Dan Antopolski, Tim Clark, Ben Norris, Josh Howie, Ian Stone, Dave Fulton. Tickets £17.50.
